Kimono Girl

This is one of my newest series, "Kimono Girl."  These paintings are done with oil paint, alkyd gel, graffiti spray paints, and templates I create for some of the patterns.  They are based on "Ukiyo-e" or "Floating World" Japanese woodblock prints from the 19th century.
